Lawyer Hazizaj divulges details from the arrest of Vangjush Dakos by order of SPAK: The security measure with prison is not appropriate, this is what the former mayor risks

In the studio of the show "Open", there is a discussion about the arrest of the former head of the municipality of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, in connection with the accusation of "Abuse of duty".

Invited to the studio, the lawyer of former chief prosecutor Adriatik Llalla, Sokol Hazizaj said that referring to the law, Dako risks up to 7 years in prison, so he said that the decision of the measure 'prison arrest' was not found, but it remains for the court.

"It is still unclear even for them for which suspicions he was detained as a security measure against the court of first instance. This measure is not only for abuse of office. You can impeach any public official for abuse of office. First he was the mayor, it is related to the function exercised over the years. In the case of Tahir, it was court after court. Dako is accused of abuse of office, in relation to a building built in the center of the city of Durrës, the building which suffered great damage from the 2019 earthquake.
