The Special Court of Appeal has upheld the decision for the wanted man, Ervis Martinaj, even after his family appealed to the country. The court did not legitimize the lawyer who represented Ervis Martinaj, as she did not have a power of attorney from him, but from his family members. The much-wanted Martinaj, whose fate has been unclear since August last year, had 34 assets seized on February 15. Most of them were put in the name of parents, sisters and wife. We remind you that 34 assets of the 'gambling king' Ervis Martinaj have been seized after the decision of GJKKO. The police and SPAK have executed the decision to seize 34 assets of Martinaj and his family members, as they are suspected to have been obtained through criminal activity. Controls were carried out at Kurbin e Fushë-Milot, where most of the assets were seized, as this is also the area controlled by Martinaj and his 'soldiers'. The investigation is continuing to prove whether Martinaj has assets hidden or registered in the names of his friends. The decision is said to have been signed by judge Erjon Bani on January 21, but the execution took place today (February 15). The value of the seized assets is estimated at several million euros. Among the assets seized are several businesses in the name of Martianaj, some in Tirana, while the rest are mostly in the name of parents Mustafa and Vasilika, sisters Erjona and Drenica, as well as in the name of his wife Roberta Martinaj. Some assets are in the name of Martinaj's associates or their family members, such as the case of Bisere Hato, the mother of one of Ervis Martinaj's friends, Eljon Hato.
