AMP takes stock for November: Two policemen were arrested, 11 files in the prosecutor's office and 18 policemen suspected

The Police Supervision Agency has arrested two police officers and investigated 18 others for abuse of duty during the month of November. The most important case in the monthly balance is the arrest of the head of the border in Korça, chief commissioner Stiljan Pasho, 53 years old, who instead of stopping the drugs, helped the perpetrators to pass 26 kg of cannabis to Greece. He got into Lorenzo Lika's car and after making sure that the drugs had crossed the border, he returned to his place of duty at the Kapshtica border point. But, the policeman did not guess that he was under surveillance and very soon he would be arrested, as happened after the Greek police caught the drugs. Stiljan Pasho is one of the 2 police officers arrested in November by the Police Surveillance Agency. The second case is an officer in Saranda, who had an accident with a private car and was drunk. AMP referred 11 files to the prosecutor's office, mainly for abuse of office and corruption, with a total of 18 suspected policemen. In the meantime, by order of the prosecutor's office in November, a total of 3 security measures were executed for 3 police officers, suspension from duty and ban on leaving the country. According to AMP data, throughout November, the Disciplinary Commission made decisions for 4 police officers, in 1 case for postponement of the promotion deadline, 2 for serious violation and 1 other for minor violation.
