"The Embassy of the United States has assisted every court session",

Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the release of Saimir Tahir from prison is a lost bet for the Americans.

According to him, the approach of the United States of America in terms of catching "big fish" is not being implemented in Albania and consequently with the release of Tahir came the disappointment which, as the lawyer clarified, was clearly expressed in the reaction of Yuri Kim .


"I don't want to be biased in my judgement, I don't want to be speculative, there may be other reasons, there may be no reason, of course it has provoked a high international concern. Yuri Kim's reaction was a direct reaction to this decision to release Saimir Tahir.

For those who don't know, the United States embassy has assisted every court hearing that Saimir Tahiri was tried.
