The State Police has reacted regarding the rescue of 4 climbers on Malin e Jezerce, where one of them was in a serious condition after injuring his leg. The Blues have released the footage from this moment and the helicopter that immediately went to help can be seen.

It is learned that after medical assistance, the Serbian tourist was transported by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital for more specialized medical assistance and is out of danger.

Police Notification: 

The State Police, in cooperation with the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense and the medical team of the Ministry of Health, come to the aid of a Serbian tourist who had fallen on the Jezerca mountain and was unable to move, because he had damaged his limbs.

In the search and rescue operation, 50 police forces from the Tropoje Police Station, Renea's Alpine Unit, the Air Force of the Ministry of Defense and a medical team of the Ministry of Health were engaged.

Due to the very difficult mountainous and snowy terrain, the State Police has requested the help of the Ministry of Defense to send a helicopter to transport the tourist to the hospital in Tirana.

Around 10:05, in the operating room of the Tropoja Police Station, 4 Serbian tourists asked for help, after one of them, while exploring the area of ??Valbona, on the Jezerca mountain, fell from a height and injured his leg.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Tropoja Police Station and an alpine team from Renea, along with the medical team, were sent to help the Serbian tourist.

The specialized services of the State Police have been able to go to the place where the tourist had fallen and due to the difficult mountainous and snowy terrain, Renea's alpine team and the Police services have requested the help of the helicopter of the Ministry of Defense, to possible to transport the tourist.

With the help of the helicopter, after many efforts, the police services put the injured tourist in the helicopter and then brought him down to the vehicle road, where the helicopter stopped to give medical help to the Serbian tourist.

After medical assistance, the Serbian tourist was transported by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital for more specialized medical assistance and is out of danger.

The Serbian tourist has thanked the Police services, the helicopter team of the Ministry of Defense and the medical staff, who came to his aid in real time, to save his life.
