Alabbari of the port of Durrës in trouble, ends up in the police

Mohamed Alabbar, the head of the company "Eagle Hills" which will build the new tourist port of Durrës "Marina & Yachts" over 2 billion Euros seems to be in trouble in India. One of the media, "Indiatimes" writes that Alabbar has been notified to appear for questioning in connection with the case that the authorities have launched fraud investigations.

"The Delhi Police has issued a notice to Mohamed Ali Alabbar, the founder and managing director of Dubai-based Emaar Properties, asking him to appear before Friday this week for questioning. This is after he has been denounced for forgery and criminal breach of trust, for a housing project in Gurugram.

When contacted, an Emaar India spokesperson admitted that they had received the notice. "The case relates to a civil case filed by some home buyers against the banks from which they had availed property loans, where Emaar officials have been made party to the case," the spokesperson said.

According to the notification of the Indian Police, Alabbar, who is one of the directors of the subsidiary of the real estate firm in India - "Emaar India Limited" along with three other senior officers in the country, have been asked to appear to was questioned in the case. The notice to Alabbar issued on May 26 reads: The Palm Garden project is being investigated by Section IV of the Economic Offenses Wing, Delhi Police, New Delhi,” the article continued.
