A serious accident took place today in Peja, where a 17-year-old man died as a result of the collision of his motorcycle with a pole.
The event happened around 15:25, on the Pristina-Peja road, in Kyshk i Peja.
According to police sources, the young man was traveling on a motorcycle and hit an electric pole as a result of losing control.
"The motorcycle rider lost control and hit an electric pole. The doctor in charge confirmed his death, while a passenger who was with him suffered injuries and was sent to the regional hospital in Peja", said Fadil Gashi, spokesperson of the Police for the Peja region.
By order of the prosecutor, the dead body of the victim has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine and work is being done to fully investigate the incident.
