Have our WhatsApp conversations been stolen? The well-known Albanian expert shows the situation and appeals: Be careful!

Have our WhatsApp conversations been stolen? The well-known Albanian expert

"The attack on the WhatsApp social network is a fraud", said IT expert Tomi Kallanxhi in an interview for Euronews Albania.

He explained that it is impossible for hackers to get into the phones of over 500,000 Albanians and steal conversations. Kallanxhiu clarified that this social network does not save conversations.

"No, it's almost impossible, it's not that WhatsApp is a software where all our data is on a server. This is impossible because the conversations themselves are not saved, they are saved only on our phones", he said.

"People should always be careful, especially that 6-digit code that comes to us to verify a certain phone number. On the darkweb, most things can be scams," he added.
