Be careful / Experts warn you what you risk if you get this message on Facebook: Do not open it!

Experts have discovered a major scam on Facebook in the "Pishing" version that they think has hit more than 500,000 people.
Deception is a variant of the classic "Are you this?"
It involves a victim receiving a message from someone they think is their Facebook friend, and an alleged friend sending them a link to a video or photo and asking them "are they inside?"
The reality is that the hacker pretends to be a friend and sends you a malicious file.
If you click on that video link, you will go through a "chain" of websites that can infect your computer with viruses.
CyberNews experts have investigated the scam and believe the hacker is using a link to locate the person, device they are using and even the operating system on the device. All of this can lead to more targeted attacks.
Also, certain links sent in the message lead victims to the Facebook page for identity theft, where they are asked for personal information.
All of this, in addition to the above, can infect our devices with adware or malware.
CyberNews, which published the report on the attack, believes the scam started in January 2020 and then targeted people in Germany.
Fraud, on the other hand, is now spreading all over the world, and now the citizens of the UK suffer the most.
They said you should never open links in a suspicious message or provide private information for unofficial sources.
What is phishing?
Phishing is a type of internet fraud
It is usually an attempt to steal your data
Phishing usually involves fraudsters posing as a trusted person.
For example, fraudsters may send you an e-mail claiming to be your bank, asking for details.
Phishing can happen through email, social media, text messaging, phone calls and more
The best protection against identity theft is usually to be wary of weird links and weird email addresses, especially if you have not asked for them before.
