Chaos in the offices of "Aleat", citizens of Saranda for hours in line for passports, bureaucracy and lack of service

Chaos in the offices of "Aleat", citizens of Saranda for hours in line

Whoever gets in the way to pass in front of the stately building of the Municipality of Saranda, in its western corner, is faced with an office with an area of ??about twelve square meters, with a mini-front, on the first floor, where the night sky is torn citizens. Mornings until late are buzzing with voices and shouts, not a few of which dawn in front of the mythical gate in search of the device with the biometric passport so necessary for overseas travel. Three decades ago, it was not even possible to obtain a passport with the inscription "Passport - Republic of Albania". For Albanians, the only passport was the one with many sheets, written in ink by the civil registrar. Sure, yes valid only for Albania. A biometric passport was unnecessary. Albanians had forgotten their passport for half a century to travel across borders. It was the absolute impossibility of visiting another state from birth to death. Only the bravest, those who had said goodbye to the mind, were those who took the risk of eating the bullet or being branded with the traitorous label of the homeland, finding ways to overcome the clone of barbed wire to travel illegally from the border to countries Western. For them, the passport was the most worthless tool. For them, the passport was replaced by the act of betrayal for themselves and the deportation of those who left behind, family and relatives who were denied everything from education to employment. Biography weighed on them, this stain to accompany them until the end of life. And so, the traitor became free and the family returned to isolation and deprivation of everything. After the 1990s, Albanians eager for freedom of movement, almost all were provided with travel passports. Initially it was a handwritten document then with technology, but without warranty, until the dismissal of the company "Aleat", which brought modern and sophisticated technology, which increased the seriousness and reliability of the passport, Albania. It is known that the validity of the passport is 10 years for adults and 5 years for citizens under 16 years old. For Albanian citizens, who have reached 16 years of age, an application for an electronic ID card is required at the same time, if there is no one. Citizens under the age of 16 must complete the procedures for applying for and withdrawing a biometric passport based on the relevant legal instructions: Before applying for a biometric passport with a normal process or expedited procedure, the citizen fills in the online self-declaration form at the police station which has in its jurisdiction the local government unit in which he is registered and makes the relevant declaration for the application case. The police self-declaration form for issuing or renewing a passport is done electronically at the service address, on the portal, e-Albania. We do not know what the environments are like in other cities of Albania, but Saranda, the head office, is a microscopic environment, without any conditions, where the winter freezes and the summer bursts from the heat, waiting for the next one for a biometric passport. The unsuitable environment for any agricultural specialist or information worker to stay, no longer the huge crowds of citizens, who live in Saranda and the surrounding areas, as well as citizens who have been in emigration for years and choose summer to apply for a passport. But the journey from the area where they live until the moment to withdraw the passport passes through the arduous ordeal, which terrifies you even when you think about it, let me try to enter that environment that looks like a chicken coop or hut for shepherds at the top of the mountain. The square in front of the office is in the open air. The heat of July burns or the wind blows and the rain gets wet during the winter. Of course, summer brings to the city of Saranda hundreds of family members, who return to their hometown or residence to spend a few days, to enjoy the sea with which they grew up. And in this case, they use the days to get a passport. It is not only adults, but also children born in emigration, who by law must have the passport of their homeland, Albania. The thought that you will appear in those cramped environments is torture in itself even without going. It happens to the citizens in the same way as to those who are hit by cars, who start to feel dizzy and vomit before approaching the bus, as the shock is in the mind and the feeling they have before leaving for the trip. So with those looking for a biometric passport. Not a few of the remote areas leave before dawn. They travel more than twenty-thirty miles to line up at the office that looks like a cyclopean eye with those tiny dimensions, worthy of keeping it for salt depots. It is impossible for more than two people to stay in this environment. The others lean over the single window panes and look with frightened eyes and frozen hearts when it is their turn. In not a few cases, they mark the name as years ago when they requested, exactly in these offices on the second floor, a meeting with the First Secretary to cry some trouble. From inside the office, it is often heard, come on queue, as if we were in water mills to grind corn. Who has the turn, is heard from afar. Employees get nervous and citizens are anxious about when they will get a job. That the signal may be interrupted. The photo is not taken. The internet is gone. And the chorus of hosts is heard in ecstasy: Gone. Iku. Iku! When will it come, ask those who are at the end of the line to get information to wait or leave to come tomorrow. The office, there it is. Pending. Although Aleat has been present in Albania for years, at least in Saranda he did not intend to expand the premises. Take two or three more environments in order to be transferred so that the citizens feel respected and blessed. Do not get wet or burn during the hot days, which heat up even more from the huge congestion to the highway, risking your life not to crush the cars that pass endlessly at work. All institutions have taken care during these years that citizens are received with dignity. Feel calm, stay seated. Have chairs. Have normal conditions. Do not suffer the anxiety and horror of long waits. To feel good in their city. If you look wherever services are provided, the situation changes. Convenience is evident. As in customer care or at post offices, where you buy the coupon or at the offices where you pay your drinking water bills. Much more convenient conditions are where the passport is obtained. Only where applied is there no care. The office has the most inadequate conditions. As if the citizens of Albania do not go, but how to go for summer, cattle, sheep, goats, rams or farmers to buy seeds or seedlings. Ally is a big company. With income. And it does not make sense to leave the Saranda office in a mouse hole, where citizens are treated as if they were, not human beings, but biological. The ally has an income that he earns from us, let alone a few pennies, to get comfortable environments worthy of Albanians who do not have to be treated like in 1945. Let these days come down and see with their own eyes the crowd of citizens waiting in the premises outside the office under the scorching rays as if they were on the beach and burning from temperatures above 37 degrees. We have addressed this topic before. We have also published photos of many citizens waiting. No reflection, no change to add environments and counters. In no other country in the world, even in the farthest corners of the globe, would citizens be allowed to be treated in this kind of religion without dignity. Gentlemen of the Allies, let them look at it with their own eyes and let them try to occupy a queue in the ranks and the huge crowd of these days and we believe that even those who have the source of profit of this fat business will be terrified. Let them hear Philip Kaish from Vurgu who has days coming and going and is angry with the service. To meet Tatjana or Luani from Çuka and to hear for themselves what they say about the quality of service. Let’s talk to Dhimitr of neighborhood number four, who spends vacation days planned for the beach, on the “beach” in front of the Aleat office. This is the second time we have talked about the service in these offices for Saranda. We believe that it will be our turn to do the same in winter. It is unlikely that Aleat will spend some money on other facilities and increase the number of posts according to the seasons to cope with long queues for the biometric passport. Citizens have open press pages. Let them talk. We believe that their judgments will be appreciated by the Allies as well. The company itself will add little cost, but citizens will save money, time and remove the stress and horror of a biometric passport. And finally, let us remember once again the work queue to issue a passport that not a few individuals also suffer from ignorance. But this is not the fault of the company. The application and distribution process may vary according to the legislation in force by decisions taken by the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Europe and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The steps for biometric passport equipment in Albania start with the Albanian Post. Follow up with coupon purchases. The application is made at the Allied office. A self-declaration form is completed at the Police Station. The police self-declaration form for issuing or renewing the passport is done electronically at the service address on the e-Albania portal and after receiving the approval from the police, the date and time for the meeting at the Aleat offices are reserved. The police self-declaration form is only required when applying for a biometric passport for the first time. Re-application The self-declaration form is sent physically or electronically by the police station to the civil status office where the citizen will apply for a biometric passport. Yes, this is just the way to get a biometric passport. Information that citizens know. Let the Aleat company get acquainted with the horror and stress of the citizens in Saranda and let it open a little portfolio to provide more comfort, tranquility, relaxation, citizenship, quality service for the citizens of this city and the surrounding areas. Because many citizens suffer the stinginess and disrespect of Aleat, which has the duty, not only to provide Albanians with biometric passports, but also to treat them with the dignity they deserve. We are not in the third world country. We are in the most modern city of Albania, elite in the field of tourism and I believe that the Allies know very well who is the queen of Albanian tourism. So we deserve a change of conditions and immediately. Let’s wait and hope. The citizens are here. And we are here on the lookout to see reflection from the Allies, which should be the number one ally with those who pay, our citizens!
